Dr. Vijay Lakshmi Thakur received a degree from Indraprastha Dental College, has clinical experience in diagnosis & treatment planning, preventive care as well restorative and prosthodontics dentistry. She likes to educate and guide patients about oral diseases and dental hygiene.
Dentistry is a branch of medicine that is involved in the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders and conditions of the oral cavity, commonly in the dentition but also the oral mucosa, and of adjacent and related structures and tissues, particularly in the maxillofacial (jaw and facial) area.
The objectives of the Department of Dentistry are to provide patient-centered quality dental care and to provide leadership in dental education. The department is running a general OPD daily from 9 am to 6 pm.
Dental professionals of the department provide all kinds of specialty dental treatment to patients. The Department of Dentistry has been actively involved in patients’ dental care and gum disease management. The department consists of fully pledged dental equipment and dental chair. Majority of dental treatments are carried out to prevent oral diseases.
